The Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and the Ottawa Business Journal are pleased to announce the 2015 Best Ottawa Business Award (The BOBs) recipients.
The BOBs recognize Ottawa’s top businesses and the people behind them, and celebrate the history of entrepreneurship in the nation’s capital.
“This year’s recipients demonstrate the incredible level of innovation happening in our community across different sectors” said Ian Faris, President and CEO, Ottawa Chamber of Commerce. “It’s clear we are increasingly becoming a city of entrepreneurs and visionaries, with remarkable ideas to make Ottawa an outstanding city to do business”.
BOB awards will be handed out to 25 companies in 16 different categories, recognizing a wide range of organizations from multiple industries at the gala on November 18 at the Shaw Centre amidst VIPs, celebrities, business and community leaders and more than 550 guests.
The 2015 CEO of the Year Award to Bernie Ashe, CEO, Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group and the Lifetime Achievement Award to Shirley Westeinde, Chair, Westeinde Group will also be presented at the gala.
